Top Asphalt are specialists in anti-skid over banding joint sealant. Unlike normal bitumen, our anti skid over banding joint sealant does not constitute a road hazard. Anti-skid waterproof sealant for horizontal joints and cracks in concrete and asphalt / tarmac roads provides extra protection beyond the edges of such joints or cracks. It will exceed the skid resistance of SRV 55 and is required by the new Roads and Street Works Act, the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (HD31/94) and by many Council Highway Specifications for anti-skid over banding and reinstatement works.
All our labour is fully qualified to NRSWA, CITB standard and offer tarmac resurfacing using 6mm, 10mm, HRA, sand carpet, SMA either by hand or machine laying. These include tarmac patching, anti-skid over banding joint sealant and tarmac reinstatement for rail, telecoms, cable and utility companies on projects such as new footpaths, car parks and overlays.
